Catherine has a broad range of classical study beginning at Garland College in Boston, studying art history. She then continued her classical training in painting and drawing at the Paier School of Art in Hamden Connecticut studying realism & the techniques of the old masters. After several years Catherine found herself in New York City studying the New York Painters and the Abstract Expressionists at the Arts Student League and School of Visual Arts where she received her BFA and found her unique personal style of painting.

While still in school Catherine landed a job as a creative director painting murals for the United States Government on a 4 year project which entailed painting multiple murals for public spaces, throughout the Veterans Administrations hospitals.

Upon completion of  her mural commissions she continued working on large projects out of her New York Studio for multiple fashion shows, backdrops for New York City windows, interiors and specialized projects throughout New York City. Being in high demand Catherine found herself working for J Walter Thompson as a studio artist working on multiple national accounts as well as designing spaces for Herman Miller & Knoll furniture.

As her interests lead her towards more architectural endeavors she moved her studio to Alexandria Virginia and expanded her work to include “The Architectural Form”, working on architectural drawing and paintings of historic buildings, Offering her unique style to architects, real-estate developers and commercial real-estate agencies throughout the Alexandria and DC area.

She has a gallery and studio in Warwick New York, “31HIGH”, where she works on her architectural renderings and fashion illustration.
